More innovation GF AgieCharmilles LASER earns an EuroMold Award
GF AgieCharmilles has demonstrated its technology leadership again, earning an EuroMold Award for its new LASER products and technology. The award was presented Thursday, Dec. 3, at EuroMold 2009, in Frankfurt/Main Germany. The awards honor the three best products and services exhibited at EuroMold, a world fair for moldmaking, tooling, design and application development.
Recipients of EuroMold awards, known among industry experts as the “Oscar of application development,” are selected by a jury representing commerce and industry, medium-sized businesses, the media, universities, and research units.
GF AgieCharmilles was singled out for its new LASER line, which features six products in four sizes, according to Volker Reichmann, Coordination and Projects with GF AgieCharmilles Global Marketing, who accepted the award on behalf of his colleagues.
In thanking the EuroMold organizers and awards jury, Reichmann pointed out that GF AgieCharmilles’ new LASER products are in keeping with the award’s motto: “From Idea to the Product.”
“The beginning of this project was in March 2009. The first prototypes of our new LASER products were available in July,” he said, emphasizing that GF AgieCharmilles has approached the current global economic recession with a steadfast commitment to innovation and customer service. He said the speed with which GF AgieCharmilles brought its LASER products to market is further evidence of the quality, reliability, speed and innovation that makes GF AgieCharmilles a market leader and respected partner to customers around the world.
“Our mindset is not only our competitive advantage, but also our customers’ competitive advantage. With the new LASER product line, we help our customers open up with innovative technology and new applications and to stand out” in the marketplace,” Reichmann said.
In addition, Reichmann thanked Stefan Krüth, who has been a committed supporter of GF AgieCharmilles’ expansion into laser ablation and whose firm, J. & F. Krüth, is exhibiting the GF AgieCharmilles LASER 600 5Ax at EuroMold.
